RoCk bAnD! Seems to be the craze.............

Ok so a close friend of ours introduced us to this game and at first I was thinking I wouldn't get into it, since I am not typically a fan of rock music, but I played a bit and it really isn't so bad.

Then my oldest son's friend came over and brought his whole Rock Band equipment and I think we are all hooked at home with this game now, even I have dabbled into it a bit more and I am beginning to get pretty good. My sons friend left the game here to see if we all get into the craze, and it has definitely grown on us. Now Keith (who I may add is a true hip hop boy and refused to play Rock band at first) is actually considering to buy one, LOL! Azriel my 6 yr. old son is actually pretty good with it and got a score of 76%. I'd say he's great for being so young and mastering the EASY level with such ease and I'm only at a 89% LOL!. It really is a fun family game. Who would have thought!?

Summer Fun with Friends

Summer is such a fun time! Beaches, pools, parks, road trips, family or friends coming to visit.

This summer I was able to spend time with my special friend Jan and her kids that came to Florida to visit. Jan and the kids love Disney and so we spend the afternoon with them in Downtown Disney. We visited the many shops that are full of Disney goodies, and after a while of shopping we stopped at Portabellas Restaurant for a nice lunch, Yum!

It was great to see them, and have some Disney Fun together!

Work, School, Work, School....my oh my

Well as you can see, I have been a bit busy, but I wanted to stop in and let you know that I am keeping my head above water. It has been a crazy week! School is out and I have the boys all home, with the exception of one that is now working.

I am also working from home as part of a call center for a company that takes the orders for TV infomercials. Then of course there is school work that keeps me busy. Not complaining, I am excited about this new chapter in my life. However, I am finding it harder to come on here and blog, keep up with emails, check in on facebook and myspace. Whew! Did I cover it all? LOL! Goodness, we have so much on our plate now a days.

With that said, I will probably not be around all of these as much as I used to be. But I do promise to come on here as much as my time will allow to keep you posted.
So far so good on the School front, nothing but "A"s. So I am happy!

Have a great remaining of the week!

Memorial Day Pics

I wanted to take the time to create these pages quickly so you can view the pictures a lot quicker than if I had to do it the traditional way, LOL!! So I figured I would give Smilebox a try. Although it takes you to a separate page to view the layouts, it really does come out cute. Enjoy!!

New changes, New demands!

Ok, so I hope that you all had a great Memorial Day weekend and were able to get some down time. I know I did, and it has been hard to get back into the groove again.

My family and I went to the beach for the weekend and boy it was beautiful, although the waters were a bit rough. Not the normal for the beaches in Sarasota, Florida but the boys did have a great time. I will try to get some photos or layouts up so that you can all see the fun.

To bring you all up to date on me, I have taken a HUGE step in my life and decided to enroll in college once again. This is why the disappearance and M.I.A. on my part for the last few days, I have been trying to adjust to the change so bear with me. I think I will be ok, now that I understand what my schedule will look like for classes but it has been a week of craziness! LOL! As you can see by the logo, it is an online college and so I am in what they call a "Distance Learning Environment", which essentially means that I take my classes via the internet.

As some of you may know or not know, my love has always been in the Medical field and so back when I first went to college I was majoring in Nursing. However, the current demands with my youngest son plus the scheduling demands of clinicals just don't allow me to go into the Nursing program at this time. So I decided to major in Health Care Administration. This program was available via online and it gives me the flexibility I need at this moment, with the opportunity of possibly reconsidering Nursing in the future.

I do want to report that I received my very first "A" on one of the first assignments for this past week. And do you know what the report had to be about? BLOGGING! I think I know a little bit about that. LOL!!! So of course I "A-ced" it.
